Beginners Welcome and Encouraged!
Join Ellie Sunday, November 17th 10:30am-12:30pm for an informative exploration of safely modifying and transitioning through Chaturanga Dandasana.
Using discussion, demonstration, and practice, Ellie will guide you to find the safest way(s) for you and your unique body to approach and modify this transition. Students will receive ample individual attention on form and function, so that you leave with a solid understanding of what effectively works for you in your daily practice and what you might work on moving forward.
This class is limited to 10 people, so that we may break down this transition in depth, with detailed explanations and individual investigations on building the strength to move safely through chaturanga, and the knowledge to know when and how to modify the posture when needed. Whether you are skipping chatranga entirely, working with Knees/chest/chin, pressing straight back to chaturanga from seated, or attempting chakrasana (the backward roll into chaturanga), specific variations and tips will be given to each practitioner, from beginner to advanced.
