THERAPEUTIC YIN FLOW

Mondays & Wednesdays 10a with Kathleen |1-2|

In Therapeutic Yin Flow, we safely strengthen where we are weak, stretch where we are tight, and deepen our connection to body and breath. This is a beginner friendly class where less is more, and feeling is healing.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Tuesdays at 6pm with Joanne |1|

Relax, breathe, and restore your mind and body to their natural state of calm with this class that incorporates gentle, supported yoga poses with soothing essential oils.
Restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends, supported by props and held for long periods of time to allow for complete release into the postures.

FUNCTIONAL YIN

Thursdays 6pm with Lily |1-2| These classes are a slow and steady pairing of functional movements for body callibration and deep stretches for fascial release. Come not only for flexibility and calmness, but for joint stability and release of the chronically overused musculature.

The practice is about approaching your body with care and attention. Lily uses core exercises, rhythmic stretching, and longer holds for joint health slowing down enough to access the emotional and mental blockages that dictate our lives. Cultivate space not only in the ligaments, joints, and deep fascial networks of the body, but also in the brain, in this simple but challenging class.

Lily will ask what areas you want to focus on in the beginning of class, so give the tender spots some thought. By combining slow core, brain meditations & big breaths, Lily hopes this class will down-regulate your nervous system and up your relationship to your active body.
