In Mysore Style classes, the teacher gives individualized instruction in the Ashtanga tradition. The student learns specific movements, breathing, and other aspects of the series gradually, in a process accessible to anyone. Each student works at their own pace, guided by the teacher.
*Classroom opens at 5am. Assistance and Instruction begin at 6am.*

This is a 60 minute practice that uses sun salutations, standing and seated postures, and balancing poses, while building and maintaining a strong connection to the breath. Modifications are offered in both directions, and all levels are encouraged to attend.

This 6o minute flow practice in a heated room moves through sun salutation variations, balance exercises, and static postures, as we connect to our breath and our bodies. Using safe movements to build internal heat, this energetic class offers a moderate level of exertion that can be modified in either direction. All levels are welcome!

This 60 minute all levels class is based in the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga and presented in a way that is approachable to those newer to the practice.

90 minute Introduction to the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. New students welcome.
This 75 minute practice will introduce you to the fundamental building blocks of Ashtanga Yoga through sun salutations, standing poses, and the first seated postures of the Primary Series. There is focus on liking breath per movement and dristhi (gaze) per movement.
SATURDAYS at 11:00a with Becca.
This 90 minute practice explores postures throughout the first and second series of Ashtanga Yoga. Difficult poses are broken down into approachable steps, allowing the students to explore new postures in a safe and fun way. This class is a good accompaniment for students learning Ashtanga in the Mysore tradition or for anyone curious about hte practice.
TUESDAY/THURSDAY 4:15p with Becca
This practice centers on vinyasa yoga for strength, balance, breath, and focus. The class incorporates stretching for areas that need special attention (like hips and hamstrings, shoulders) and strengthening the core and other specific areas. For anyone who wants to add stretching/yoga into their regular fitness routine. MONDAYS at 6:30 with Megan.

TUESDAY/THURSDAYS at 10am with HEIDI (when she returns to Reno in April.)
Therapeutic yoga is designed for students with conditions that restrict movements. With a focus on pranayama (breath), chakras (energy), and observation of ones self, the practice will consist of very simple asanas (poses). Whether healing from an injury or dealing with any restrictive condition, this practice will help students achieve that precious moment of relaxation and connection of mental and physical experience, without any pressure in any way.
Lieke uses her experience as a physical therapist and her genuine love of yoga to guide students through this 75 minute class.
SUNDAYS 4:30-5:45 with Lieke
75 minute flow centered around organic, feel-good, movement with focus on alignment and breath. By moving mindfully and creating space in the body, we will find release and relaxation. All-Levels class.
Tuesdays at 5:30pm with Lily.
When we release muscle tension and bound fascia we can improve the alignment and function of the skeletal and muscular systems, as well as improve blood and lymphatic circulation. We can then use Power Yoga to create stability in our joints, strength in our bodies, and healthy movement patterns. Power & Restore will incorporate all of these principles while promoting a mind, body and breath connection. This class is more advanced, so basic knowledge of sun salutations is encouraged but not required. All levels are welcome, but please be aware this class will be challenging.
THURSDAYS at 5:30p with Annie
A strong Vinyasa flow class that will challenge your core to find strength and power. This class encourages requests for arm balances, inversions & transitions, creating time and a safe space to try new things and build strong floating and balancing foundations. We will stop and go allowing you to try out postures and transitions and have the time to maybe try again!

Relax, breathe, and restore your mind and body to their natural state of calm with this class that incorporates gentle, supported yoga poses and soothing essential oils.
Restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends, supported by props and held for long periods of time to allow for complete release into the postures.

This practice promotes balance, stress reduction, and enhanced intuition. It focuses the mind to be calm and clear by emphasizing kriyas, or sequential exercises, incorporating breath, relaxation, chanting, and the repetition of mantras.

Join Amber & Eric Mondays 7:30-9:00p. This is a fun practice that is beginner accessible but allows plenty of room for growth and exploration, as you learn Acrobatic partner yoga.

This is a donation based class geared towards (but definitely not limited to) those dealing with addictions and life challenges. Whether you're new to yoga or have a seasoned practice, this class of movement/breathing/discussion is for everyone looking to strengthen mind, body & soul.
75 minute Gentle Flow Practice

Designed to take the intimidation factor out of yoga, all are welcome to experience an hour-long practice that features an eclectic rock/metal/whatever playlist. With a different teacher each week, you can get a well-rounded sampling of what yoga can be, and you don’t even have to be able to touch your toes.

Its Just Yoga is a Saturday morning class that builds heat in the body with sun salutations before moving into static postures designed to actively stretch the body. With a 10:30 a.m. start time and at a beginner level its an accessible way to start the weekend in mindfulness. The physical practice follows a consistent sequence of poses and in addition, each week, Amy will explore different nuances in yogic teachings.
Cultivate space not only in the ligaments, joints, and deep fascial networks of the body, but also in the brain. In this simple but challenging class we will slow down enough to access the emotional and mental blockages that dictate our lives, while cultivating simple presence. Nourish yourself with yin to balance the fiery extremes of this life.
