We practice chaturanga transitions and use variations of chaturanga that work for your body. Tuesday & Thursday 4:30-6pm with James |1-3| Starts 9/23

Saturday 8-11am with James |1-3| Starts 9/23

Tuesday & Thursday Self-Practice 6-9am OPEN ROOM (must have established practice)

Mysore Ashtanga is a practice where students receive a deeper level of guidance, insight, and attention on moving safely through the Ashtanga Yoga sequencing. Students eventually commit the sequence to memory, but this requires a practice commitment of 3 (or more) days per week in the Mysore room. You can supplement your Mysore practice with Guided Group Classes.

Newer students are recommended to attend the Monthly Intro to Ashtanga Workshop click here to learn more, or Ashtanga Lite classes (Friday 10am L1/2, Monday NOON L1/2) to familiarize themselves with the practice before committing to an Ashtanga membership.

Weekday morning sessions open at 6a, and students can begin practicing anytime before/by 8a. Take as much or as little time as needed to complete the practice. Weekday evening Mysore instruction starts at 4:30, and students must finish their practice by 6p.

Once experience wtih the ashtanga practice is established, students in the Mysore room practice the series independently, at their own pace, guided step-by-step into new postures and transitions. In a supportive setting with instruction on breath and alignment, practitioners are given new postures in sequence as they become ready. The teacher can observe and give verbal or visual cues, in-depth explanations of the postures, and/or physical adjustments as needed. You will receive personal attention on your practice.

NO MYSORE OR FULL PRIMARY Practice on Moon Days. Practice times closest to the approaching new moon & full moon are taken as rest days. These days are noted in the schedule. (Other Led Ashtanga classes are NOT canceled on Moon Days.)
