This 75-90 minute practice incorporates asana (movement), pranayama (breathwork), and meditation. It is recommended that new students attend Mondays until they are familiar with the sequence.

MONDAY: Fully Led Practice (New Students)

FRIDAY: Silent Practice with option to sit for pranayama/meditation til 7:30am.

MONDAY-FRIDAY 5am-10am* with Carol

Classroom opens at 5am. Assistance and instruction begin at 6am. New and Beginner Students are invited to come to Guided Practice at 7am. Please be on time.

Think of these time slots as an open window available for you to practice around your schedule. Start and end times are flexible based on your needs. Carol will assist and guide you at your level. In Mysore Style classes, the teacher gives individualized instruction in the Ashtanga tradition. The student learns specific movements, breathing, and other aspects of the series gradually, in a process accessible to anyone. Each student works at their own pace, guided by the teacher.

Saturdays 8:30a with Carol

The entire first series of Ashtanga Yoga is practiced together, moving through sun salutations, standing postures, and balancing poses, as called by the teacher. This is a 90 minute practice designed for those with some knowledge of the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga.

Fridays at NOON with Carol

This 60 minute all levels class is based in the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga and presented in a way that is approachable to those newer to the practice.

Saturdays at 11am with Becca

Introduction to the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga.

This 75 minute practice will introduce you to the fundamental building blocks of Ashtanga Yoga through sun salutations, standing poses, and the first seated postures of the Primary Series. There is focus on linking breath per movement as well as linking dristhi (gaze) per movement. All Levels Welcome.

Tuesdays/Thursdays 4:30-5:45p with Carol

This is a 75 minute Vinyasa class pulling from the first and possibly second series of Ashtanga Yoga. Using sun salutations, breath, and bandhas, the class will move through different sequencing of traditional poses.



Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at NOON with Ellie.

This practice uses sun salutations, standing and seated postures, and balancing poses, while building and maintaining a strong connection to the breath. Modifications are made available and all levels are encouraged to attend.

Monday at 4:30pm with Loren Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00am with Heidi Wednesdays at 5:30pm with Heidi 60 minute flow practice in a heated room. This class moves through sun salutation variations, balancing exercises, and standing and seated postures, as we connect to our breath and our bodies. Using safe movements to build internal heat, this energetic class offers a moderate level of exertion that can be modified in either direction. All levels are welcome.

Wednesdays at 7pm Rotating Teachers

Designed to take the intimidation factor out of yoga, all are welcome to experience an hour-long practice that features an eclectic rock/metal/whatever playlist. With a different teacher each week, you can get a well-rounded sampling of what yoga can be, and you don’t even have to be able to touch your toes.

Saturday 9:30-10:45am with Jenn

Its Just Yoga is a Saturday morning class that builds heat in the body with a feel good vinyasa flow before moving into static postures designed to actively stretch and support the body. Start the weekend with mundfulness, tending to the body, breath, and self with this all levels class.

TUESDAYS 5:30p with Annie

When we release muscle tension and bound fascia we can improve the alignment and function of the skeletal and muscular systems, as well as improve blood and lymphatic circulation. We can then use Power Yoga to create stability in our joints, strength in our bodies, and healthy movement patterns. Power & Restore will incorporate all of these principles while promoting a mind, body and breath connection. This class is more advanced, so basic knowledge of sun salutations is encouraged but not required. All levels are welcome to this challenging practice.

This practice centers on yoga for strength, balance, and focus, incorporating stretching for areas that need special attention.


Sundays at 7pm with Lily

This class is about approaching your practice with care and attention. Lily uses core exercises, rhythmic stretching, and longer holds for joint health in this 90 minute therapeutic practice. Everybody is welcome to this candlelit recovery class. Wind down to a restful sleep sundays at 7:00p.


Sundays 3:00-4:30 with Kathleen or Jole

Moving slowly through gentle and restorative postures, this class is beginner and senior friendly, suited for anyone working through injuries or any other condition that would restrict mobility.


Thursdays at 6pm with Lily

Cultivate space not only in the ligaments, joints, and deep fascial networks of the body, but also in the brain. In this simple but challenging class we will slow down enough to access the emotional and mental blockages that dictate our lives, while cultivating simple presence. Nourish yourself with yin to balance the fiery extremes of this life.

Relax, breathe, and restore your mind and body to their natural state of calm with this class that incorporates gentle, supported yoga poses with soothing essential oils.
Restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends, supported by props and held for long periods of time to allow for complete release into the postures.

This Family Centered Vinyasa class is good for yogis of all ages. Bring the whole family to learn basic breathing techniques, get moving, and play games. Connect as a team through the practice of Yoga. NOT INCLUDED IN REGULAR PRICING. Midtown Community Yoga donates our studio space to Community Yogi. They use PRANA PAY, and you choose your price ($12 suggested) and pay them directly. You can register and pay through their website Your payment goes to the teacher and to help Community Yogi provide fun yoga opportunities in cool venues throughout the Reno Carson Area.


Fridays 6-7pm with Urban Lotus Project

FOR TEENS ONLY! This is a FREE (optional donation) class to build strength, flexibility, and balance. Practice mindfulness, meet other teens interested in yoga, and try fun postures with the help of props, the wall, and the teacher. Learn something new and walk away ready for the weekend.

Lead by cancer survivor and yogini of 20+ years, this is a healing practice designed to stimulate the lymphatic system and address muscle fatigue. Using ancient breathing practices to quiet your mind and temper anxiety, this class is open to any practitioner and all levels are encouraged to attend.
